General Conference Objectives:
As a result of attending, participants will:
- Expand and update their knowledge of current school health topics
- Develop current approaches to several specific school health issues within the scope of their practice
- Expand a school nurse support network
- Develop increased awareness of educational tools, resources and organizations available to assist school nurses in their practice
- Recognize the necessity for school nurses to be aware of and involved in professional and policy issues in the educational setting.
- Objectives for each session will be published in each participant’s conference folder.
